Downloading documents

To download a European patent (country code EP) or an international patent document (country code WO) with up to 500 pages, select Original document, click on Download and follow the instructions provided. If the document contains over 500 pages, "Document too large" will appear and you will have to save the document one page at a time. The download limit for other patent documents is 250 pages.


To download the contents of the My patents list click on Download and follow the instructions provided. In the case of EP and WO documents with over 500 pages (250 for other documents), the error message "PDF too long" will appear.


All EP and Euro-PCT documents (published applications and granted patents) - regardless of the size of the documents - can also be downloaded via the European publication server .
